Fraternal Greetings To All of Our Sisters and Brothers

We deem it a great honor to greet you as the 45th Grand Worthy Matron and the 43rd Grand Worthy Patron of Oziel Grand Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, P.H.A., for the Jurisdiction of New Jersey.

We are all cognizant of the difficult economic phase that we are in. Relief does not appear to be insight. Therefore, we have to find ways to work smarter without sacrificing the charitable activities or the support for one another. There is unbelievable strength in unity.

Sisters and Brothers, we need to re-energize our Order by reclaiming every able bodied Sister and Brother and involving them in our good works. Our main focus must be the stabilization and growth of our Chapters, which are our true foundation. By accomplishing this, we get the bonus of a stabilized Grand Chapter. The magnitude of this office demands our best. Won’t you share your best with us? Let’s go forth with a one year goal of growing our Chapters by five percent (5%). It is well within our reach to accomplish this goal.

Brother Lawrence C. Hopkins, Grand Worthy Patron and I are fully prepared to lead this charge. We are going “Back to Basics”, so that we will have a Fraternal Organization to pass onto our children and our children’s children. Let’s go back to respecting and supporting one another, while Fully Relying on God. Remember, “Only Your Best Is Ever Good Enough”.
